We are a warm and welcoming community whose special gift is hospitality. Our faith community thanks you for visiting our web site. We are a rural church in Eastern Kentucky. We were established in 1984 but the church building was not built until 1989. During the first five years the Catholic people gathered in homes and at a member's business office for Mass. The seeds of faith that were sown by the intial six people who petitioned the Bishop for a Catholic Church in Powell County has today grown into a vibrant community of 41 families. Our members strive to take the mission of Jesus seriously. Rarely does a visitor leave our church without being welcomed personally by a member. You are most welcome to visit our church and experience the beauty of our members.
